Is your energy fast-paced and erratic, more like a ricocheting ping pong ball than a placid, serene oasis? My ‘Director/Socializer’.personality rushes to get the job done, get it done fast, while jolly well having fun along the way. This technique worked well when I believed that the way to succeed in business was to set goals, speed around, do, do, do and leap over massive obstacles in a single bound.

I was clearly the last person on earth to subscribe to the guidance of a Hindu Guru. (By the way, Hinduism is a way of life, rather than a religion. So one can be a devout Christian, and still have a Hindu Guru.) In retrospect, I cannot imagine why any Guru would willingly agree to be burdened with a hard-headed, opinionated, full-speed-ahead Soul such as me. Wonder of wonders, since 1993 I have been under the umbrella of a living example of an Avatar, (Pure Divinity in human form.) By the way, a Guru's purpose is to guide us into the awareness of the Divinity within each of us.

Separation Of Work And Spirituality

Even though I've had the most enlightening and amazing spiritual experiences as a student, I still kept my work life separate from my spirituality. My spiritual life was deeply personal, very private. Therefore my livelihood and my spirituality ran on two disconnected parallel tracks. After all, business is business and my spirituality was not anyone else’s business.

United We Stand

Splitting focus into two disconnected channels caused me much suffering. It was not until I went through a unifying, spiritual, paradigm shift in consciousness that I began to experience peace of mind from deep within. When my inner vibrations changed then my financial world improved too.

Recovering From The Burst RE Bubble

I had to face the financial enormity of the housing market crash here in the States. What an agonizing, slow, discovery it was for me to realize that all of my best thoughts and actions in the world of form, did nothing to solve my core problems. It took eons, it seemed to release and free myself from torturous anxiety. The very idea of surrendering to a ‘Higher Power’, made me feel as if I was admitting defeat. Did I really have to join the long foreclosure lines?

The Power Of Silence

My Guru demonstrates how “silence is power”. I knew that I ‘should’ become silent, go within and connect with my Source through meditation. But my do, do, do self said, “You mean I have to just sit still and do nothing?” How on earth is that going to help fix anything? Part of me still didn’t think that I could approach my business situation with a spiritual solution.

Releasing Childhood Conditioning

My childhood conditioning suggested that: “God was God and business was business and never the twain shall meet. One should not bother God with mundane problems. God helps those who help themselves… ‘ It served me right! I got myself into this mess… so I continued to tuck my spirituality away from my work life. I continued to search for physical, worldly solutions. I certainly wasn’t going to bother God with my 'financial woes'... especially when I felt responsible and believed that it was entirely my fault.

Surrendering To A Spiritual Solution

I, By Myself, I Do Nothing

Finally the penny dropped! I by myself do nothing. There is no separation, except in the intelectual mind. It is called, Edging God Out (EGO). God, Source Energy through me does everything... with unlimited power. I needed to unite my physical, intellectual, work energy with my spiritual heart and soul energy.

In addition to the prime example of my Guru, there are many living examples to follow. People like Yogini Kaliji, (TriYoga), Joel Oesteen, Dr Robert Schuller, (Chrystal Cathedral), Esther & Jerry with 'Abraham- Hicks' and Rhonda Byrne, (The Secret). They know how to, “Be still and know that I am God”.

By this I mean, you cannot aptly describe how it feels to stand on the edge of the Grand Canyon, and neither is it possible to describe the soul enriching experience of being in Sri Swamiji’s magnificent energy field; this is something that has to be experience for one’s self. It is simply a delicious and blissful experience

Frequency Alignment Tools

We each arediscovering how to align our daily operational vibrations with the frequency of All Good, Source Energy, God. There are many ways to tune in. I have found a sense of peace after a vigorous Taekwondo work out. Tai Chi is a moving meditation that brought me a sense of Unity for many years. At present I am using Abraham-Hicks, ‘Getting into the Vortex’ meditation which then allows me to sit longer and go deep into silence and aligni with my Source.

Easy Alignment Techniques

1) Practice random acts of appreciation, this increases feeling good (God), vibrations.

2)Recognize that it is God (Source Of All Energy), within that empowers and breathes life though us.

3) Consciously realize God within. There is never any separation, God is in every living thing and is being expressed through our every activity, including our work life. God is the only Power, substance and intelligence.

4) Allow and align with the flow of Source of all Energy, by appreciating that God is within, within you and me, in each mind, behind our eyes, in the very beating of every heart... and yes, God is the energy of money and business life too! We are each God in action ... eyes, hands, and feet, The question become, how expansively are we allowing God to flow through us?
